Ariel got a lego set for keeping dry pull-ups at night and she had to add her lego crew to Caleb's!  Love it!!

Chore and Behavior Chart

I made this chore chart for the kids (and me), and I can't tell how wonderful it has been to have this! I give the kids a quarter a day when they do their chores. They have been so helpful and I have found that if I stay on top of my chores, they are way more willing to do the same!

Also, if they don't get along or argue with each other or Dan and I, I tell them to go to the board and we look at scripture to correct the behavior that they have. We rarely have to us this, my kids are genuinely good and usually stay on track without having to use the board!

Lockin-In for Student Day

I was involved in a Lock-In at the Church for middle school kids.  I remember doing Lock-Ins as a kid and just loved them!  We had about 85 students in the middle school area (upstairs in clubhouse and surge) and about 140 in the high school area (in the student building).  It was such a fun evening!

Paint By Number

After Christmas I picked up some paint by number kits for the kids to paint.  I remember doing them as a kid and I honestly don't ever remember finishing one!  Now I know why.  They are tough.  Sometimes the numbers are so small that you can't get the color perfect so you have to have a lot of patience.  The kids had some issues with it and never finished them but it was fun while it lasted!

 Debbie and Allison came into town the day after Christmas.  We had several really nice warm days the week they were here.  It was a great opportunity to get out and enjoy some sun and have a little photo time.  Caleb was with us but was not being cooperative so I didn't get any with him that were usable.
