I have been so busy with work and just trying to stay caught up on laundry and keep my house from getting chaotic and Ariel was needing some good snuggle time. This morning I sat on the couch for nearly an hour and held my sweet baby girl while we watched a few episodes of Phineas and Ferb. She kept hug me and squeezing me and say "I am attacking you with love!". She is so sweet and we deeply needed some snuggle time together.

The rest of the day Ariel did a few crafts around the house and played in the sink with her little animals.

After Caleb got home from school he showed me his library book. He chose a Hans Christian Anderson book on fairy tales!

This evening we dropped the kids off at FNO at church. Dan and I went to Texas Land and Cattle and had dinner to celebrate a friend of ours 30th birthday. We unfortunately didn't take any photos though. Shocker!

I have been really bad about blogging but I am going to really try to blog at least every other day since I have been using instagram on my phone. So, I will start today and fill in the gaps later.

Today I had a newborn session scheduled. Baby Vivienne came to see and she is adorable! Mandy and Kendel Jayne introduced her to the world two weeks ago. Mandy and I had a great time playing dress up with her!

This evening we had dinner at Taco Bueno and then came home and played in the yard while Dan mowed and we put Shadow our new bunny in his cage that Dan built last night. So thankful to have a handyman!

My Besties!

I want to be very transparent here for just a bit. Seems like since high school I have struggled with making friends with many girls due to the fact of them not being "real" in all areas of their life. Now I am not saying that I haven't had good girl friends throughout my life after high school but it's been really hard to find a group of friends that I just fit into without feeling as though I have to change the way I am just to be around them. I have had select friends throughout the years who I could always confide in, not many, maybe 2-3 that I could spill it all to. I have always had the desire to have a group where we just "get it" when we are together with no pressure, no gossip, and no back lashing, no thinking about what they think about me. Well I believe that God has honored that desire and I have found a group of girls that have blown me away with the sincerity that they have for others and the openness that they share with me. I deeply appreciate their friendships and I am so glad that God has brought them to me in this time of my life! Oh and not to mention, God brought Leah back to Arkansas as well! That's another prayer that has been answered. This photo below does not have all the girls posted...blessed, yes I am!

Bow Makin' with Great Friends

We went to Kelsy and Cameryn's one Friday morning to let the girls play while Kelsy and I made some bows. Well I say Kelsy and I but really it was ALL Kelsy! She is the bow makin' queen and ended up making Ariel 4 adorable bows! What a great friend! She did refresh my memory on how to make them so hopefully very soon I can make a few more! Thanks again Kels!

White Elephant Exchange

About a year ago I took some photos for a lady named Tresa Oldham, her sweet daughter Karolynn, her daughter in law Christy and her grand-daughter Andi. Tresa decided to take on a new venture and started a new franchise here in Benton, Washington and also Pulaski counties called White Elephant Exchange. It's a consignment sale much like Rhea Lana and June Bugs. She had asked me to help her with a few marketing pieces so she could use my photos in some ads and on her website an she also wanted me to take photos during the sale. I gladly helped her and in exchange she let me use a space in her ad in Peekaboo Magazine and also let me use a booth at her sale for a pretty incredible price. I also consigned about 60 items in her sale and made made about $100. Pretty good deal all around. Tresa had a very successful sale and wants me to continue to work with her in the future!

Dance Day and School Photo

Today was Dance Day with Ariel. After she got dressed in her leotard she said "I am an olive today because I am dressed all in black. I hope Daddy doesn't eat me!". The things those sweet kids say!

During dance, I took Ariel's picture with her friend Hannah. It amazes me how much these girls have grown!

This evening the kids are watching videos on YouTube about money. This all stemmed from Caleb making paper money at TREC today. Little do they know that money will someday be very different than what it is today!

Oh and today we got Caleb's 2nd grade photos from school. I made it a point when Caleb got in school that I wouldn't purchase photos of the kids each year since I take so many photos of them anyway. Next year I will purchase Ariel's kindergarten photos and Caleb's 3rd grade photos.

Fun run and photo treasures!

Caleb and I have decided that we are going to do the Bentonville Fun Run together on March 31st. We did our first run together yesterday and he said he really enjoyed it! We only ran about .8 miles since we had Ariel with us. Her little legs just couldn't keep up! next time we go she said she would bring her bike so she can keep up. Praying this will be something he and I can do together for a while. It will keep me motivated to spend some quality time with my sweet boy and to burn a few extra calories!

I received three 16x20 canvases to use for display at a local consignment sale coming up on March 15, 16, and 17 called White Elephant Exchange. I will have a booth set up there with some info about my photography. I am also working hand in hand with 2katie designs and they sell some really cool frames. I will be displaying some of my work in their frames as well!

While Ariel was at school today, I ran a few errands and then went to a few flea markets in town. I found some great treasures for some photo sessions! And I realized I am in need of a studio! We are praying for this!

Sunday afternoon in Caleb's room!

I have found out how addicting Instgram is now but it is so easy to post blogs this way! Who knows I might just keep my blog up to date doing this! Take a pic in instagram, give it a funky vintage look upload to my photos and then to blogger! So easy and I can do it all from my phone!

These are some pics of the kids and I playing in Caleb's room this afternoon. Worship music, signing, dancing, Legos and some lovin!! Good times!
