Eclipse Premier Night

Yes, I was one of the thousands who saw Eclipse on Premier night at midnight!  I met several girls at Abuelo's to eat some mexican and then afterward we went to Starbuck's to get some much needed caffeine!  We waited in line to get into the movie for about an hour and half and played card games and ate junk food!  There were a few of us that had matching T-shirts!  We felt like we were teenagers again!  And yes....it was totally worth it...it was SUCH a good movie!

Bunco Surprise!

One of my dearest friends, Leah, surprised us during Bunco last month.  Her and her family moved to Ohio last November and was travelling through Arkansas while she was returning home from visiting family in Texas.  She timed it perfectly in order to play Bunco with us!  It was so good to see her!  After the Bunco game, a few of us went to see Eclipse together.  Wonderful memories for sure.  I miss her so much!

Pizza Subs

I had a dinner date with some girlfriends one night and Dan was on dinner and kiddo duty!  He is such a creative Daddy!  He used frozen garlic bread and sautee'd some onions and peppers with some sausage and let the kids dress their pizza how they wanted!  They had a great time and what's better is that Dan actually took pictures!  I was shocked!  He is not a camera/picture man...although he has admitted that he is happy that I take all the pictures that I do because they are treasured memories!  I am glad he realizes that and knows that all these thousand of pics that I take are not just wasted space on my hard drive!

I am so blessed!
What an amazing night!

Dallas Trip/ Children's Museum

At the end of June, the kids and I took our annual trip to Dallas.  We stayed for a week and had a blast swimming at the Ranforest Pool, going shopping, hanging with family, and going to the Children's Museum.  Caleb was able to participate in Vacation Bible School at Allison and Debbie's church and met a few friends there and really enjoyed himself.

We were able to soak up some Great Grandma time!  She loves being with them!
The kids spent several hours playing with this marble contraption!

At the Children's Museum!

Digging for dino bones!
Allison and Ariel making balls float in mid air!
This was one of Caleb's favorite exhibits...anything to do with the weather fascinates him!

Making huge bubbles!

The room of mirrors!
Learning about germs!
Sitting and watching a movie on the globe about the planet earth.
Ariel doing a puzzle.
Making some music
Playing dress up in her favorite animal costume!

The kids spent a good 30 minutes in this room playing in the water!
A little self esteem boost!

Allison and I at our best!  Wow...thank goodness we are not this short!
Learning some tricks for the family farm!
Playin in the sand!

It is always such a blessing to be able to visit Debbie, Allison, Grandma and all the rest of the family several times a year!  Can't wait until we can do it again!
