So for Christmas, I bought myself a Nikon D700! I am SOOOO excited about it! I decided to take a few more photos of my Christmas Decor before I took it all down. All these images are not enhanced or edited.
The kids surprisingly slept until about 7:30. I had given them specific instructions to not go downstairs without first coming and getting Dan and I out of bed first (I didn't want to miss their expressions! It's my favorite part!) So once they got us up we all went downstairs to see what Santa brought!
Ariel got an easy bake oven for Christmas! She was very excited!
Santa even brought another gift and stuffed it into the garage! He is so sneaky!
So blessed! Look at all those presents!
Caleb got TONS of new star wars legos! He played with them all day!
My mom got Caleb and Ariel all new things of play-doh!
More Lego Playing!
Reading his new Star Wars Encyclopedia on the trampoline!
Ariel and I Easy Bakin!
Red Velvet Cupcakes! My favorite!
Adding the frosting!
And the sprinkles!
Ta-da! She did wonderful!
Serving them to Caleb!
And her daddy!
After a day of playing all day with all of their new toys, my mom and I were in the process of putting together a wonderful Christmas dinner. We had ham, chicken and dressing (AMAZING!!!), purple hull peas, creamed potatoes, sweet potato casserol and rolls! We had Coca-Cola Cake for dessert and sang happy birthday to Jesus and blew out the candles for him!
That night there was more playing! Here's a few more videos!
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas! We are so incredibly blessed!
After leaving the farmhouse in Bruno, we took the long 2 and a half hour drive back home to get prepared for Santa to come!
Sprinkling the reindeer food all over the lawn!
I always let them open one present on Christmas Eve and it of course was their new PJ's for Christmas morning. I have always done this and will continue to do so for years to come. I love Christmas traditions!
Getting Santa's Cookies ready with the reindeer carrots for Rudolph!
Cookies and Milk for Santa!
Writing notes to Santa!
Caleb's note: "Dear Santa, The carrots are for Rudolph. If he wants to share the carrots with the other reindeer he can!" And Ariel's: Love RS (Rudolph and Santa)
I am an outgoing and caring mother of two. Caleb is seven and a half and is in second grade this year. Ariel is five and has such a precious soul! I have been married for 10 years to my wonderful husband, Dan. Dan works hard as a self employed Landscape Architect (ebenders.com)so that I have the ability to stay home with the kids. I have a passion for living my life for Christ. I am an avid digital scrapbooker and painter and enjoy learning new things about the creative aspects of art and architecture. I have also started my own photography business and you can view my website by going to katiecole.com!
