Valentine Gfts!

Last week, on a whim, Dan brought home a beautiful bouquet of lilac flowers....they were gorgeous and smelled so good!  I love how he knows me...I think Valentine's Day is kinda over-rated and would rather have the flowers any other day and not on Valentine's Day.  So he brought them home to me when I was stuck in the house with two kids and 2 feet of snow on the ground! 

I also don't like buying the kids anything "cheesy" for Valentine's day...that means no chocolates and no hearts...I know, I am no fun!  BUT, I do get the kids a little something just to show them how much I love them.  I ended up getting them books this year.  I figured these could be passed down for a long time and the messages in them are just wonderful!  I highly recommend them!

Dan is also scheduling me for a two hour massage!  I can't wait for that!  As for as a gift for him, I got him chocolate and a sweet card and he is saving up for an iPad so I tucked some money back for him!  Hope you all are having a great Valentine's Day...even if you are a scrooge like me!
